How Denise came to Astrology

The path began long before she offered her first professional reading.

Nearly forty years ago, Denise began exploring astrology from the other side of the consultation table. She received readings from at least eight professional astrologers, listening not only for what they saw in her chart, but for how this ancient language could illuminate a human life. Those early encounters planted a seed that would take years to fully emerge.

In 1999, that seed found its teacher. Denise began formal study with Jim Goranowski, who devoted fifty years to studying and teaching the ancient Arcane Sciences of Alchemy, Astrology, Kabbalah, and Tarot. She apprenticed with Jim for several years and offered approximately one hundred practice readings without charge. Only after that long period of study and practice did she add astrology to her professional work.

Since then, Denise has provided hundreds of individual readings and now brings twenty-seven years of astrological practice to every consultation. Each chart represents another person’s story, and she approaches it with the care such a story deserves.

This is not a computer-generated report or a quick reading of a Sun sign. Before meeting with you, Denise spends approximately two hours studying the structure, patterns, aspects, and timing within your individual chart. Your private two-hour consultation then brings that preparation into a living dialogue specific to you.

Astrology has never been about telling someone what will happen. It’s about helping a person recognize the strengths and challenges of what they came here to learn, live, and become.

Denise’s sessions are not predictive in the sense of foretelling that something is destined to happen to you. She considers that an improper use of the ancient science of Astrology. Because we have free will, a chart does not dictate your future, but provides a road map to your Soul's fulfillment.

Astrology reveals energetic predispositions and tendencies: the strengths and challenges your Soul brought into this lifetime, the lessons available to you, and the choices that may support greater awareness. Could your natal chart reveal a wider galactic heritage?

Several years ago, a new chapter opened in Denise’s astrological work. Through Starseed astrologers Lavandar and Arielle Taylor, she began her own Starseed journey and learned to identify specific codes in a natal chart that, within this tradition, may reveal connections with other planetary or stellar systems.

If you have always felt that you did not quite belong, experienced a longing for your real home, or felt compelled to serve humanity, you may resonate with the Starseed perspective. A reading can determine whether the recognized Starseed markings appear in your natal chart and explore what those patterns could mean for you.

This interpretation assumes that you are open to the possibility that a Soul may have come to Earth from a different planetary system. If the Starseed concept is not part of your belief system, or simply does not interest you, Starseed codes will not be discussed. You will still receive a complete Natal Chart and Transits consultation.

A significant research connection

Nobel Prize winners and the Starseed markings

The research story began approximately thirty-five years ago. While Lavandar was investigating Starseed codes, a series of synchronistic events led her to a lecture by Roy Tate, author of The Astrology of Genius. Tate had studied the natal charts of 427 Nobel Prize winners in search of repeating astrological patterns. Lavandar immediately recognized that his findings intersected with the star markings she had been studying.

Lavandar compared Tate’s findings with the stellar markings she had been researching. She reported that 400 of the 427 Nobel Prize winners—approximately 94 percent—had Starseed codes, with many displaying multiple star markings. She also observed striking repetitive Starseed codes on the days they were born, when they received their prizes, and dates of death, if they were deceased.

These findings are presented as Lavandar’s research and her comparison with Roy Tate’s astrological study. They provide the historical and research background for the Starseed-code system Denise uses in consultation.

Your Natal Chart

Your Natal Chart is a blueprint of your Soul, based on the precise positions of the planets at the time and place of your birth. It is far more specific than a general horoscope and reflects the unique energetic pattern you brought into this lifetime.

Denise interprets the high points and complexities of your chart, including its important aspects, predominant features, strengths, challenges, and the agenda your Soul may be seeking to explore. When requested, she identifies your Starseed codes and explains the possible significance they hold. You also receive personal handouts to read and reflect upon after your consultation.

Your Transits Chart

Your Transits Chart reflects the relationship between the planets moving through the sky today and how they intersect your Natal Chart. It describes current cycles and phases in your life, as well as powerful influences approaching in the near future.

This information can be especially valuable when considering a new venture, relationship, job, move, or other important change. Denise provides specific dates for constructive windows of opportunity, along with periods that may be challenging or call for caution, patience, or reconsideration.

Your fee includes approximately two hours of preparation before the session and a two-hour personal consultation. Readings must be paid in advance, and you may record yours if you choose.

Meet with Denise for two hours in the Energy Enhancement System healing room while receiving your Natal Chart and Transits consultation. Denise identifies Starseed codes when desired, reviews significant dates and windows of opportunity or challenge, and provides personal handouts for further study.

Your consultation includes two hours in the EES room, ordinarily a $120 value, allowing you to receive the session within its restorative scalar-energy environment.

If you do not live in the Austin area, Denise offers the same prepared two-hour Natal Chart and Transits consultation through Zoom or by telephone. It includes the identification of Starseed codes when desired, significant timing information, and personal handouts, but does not include the EES room session.

Contact the Bureau of Vital Statistics for your place of birth and request a copy of your birth certificate. In a large city, that city may have its own bureau; records for a smaller city may be held in the nearest major city or the state capital.

You may also ask an older sibling, parent, or grandparent what they remember. Even narrowing your birth time to morning, afternoon, or evening can be helpful. If no birth time can be found, Denise can begin with a sunrise chart for your date and place of birth.
