Animal Tales

Over the years, animals have entered my life in remarkable and sometimes mysterious ways. Frog, Hummingbird, Rabbit, Spider, Owl, Crow, Deer, Mountain Lion, Raccoon, Turkey, and others have arrived with stories of their own.

My study and experience of Shamanism have taught me another way of understanding these encounters: animals can become Allies—teachers, messengers, companions, and sometimes mirrors—when we learn how to listen and enter into relationship with them.
